All about Upholstery Wands

auto detailing
Carpet cleaners, or carpet extractors, have a simple methodology. First, water or a chemical solution is sprayed onto the carpet to dissolve the stain marks and dirt on the surface. Then, the machine injects water and solution, if desired, into the carpet; the mixture of impurities in the carpet is removed with the help of a wand. The main components of carpet cleaners include a pump used to generate pressure for spraying water or any other fluid onto the carpet, a heating element (if operating a heated machine), and a wand to remove the impurities.

While these parts are perfectly capable of removing almost any type of stain from carpets, a special wand is required for cleaning upholsteries. This is particularly useful for auto detailing work when the seats of cars or buses are badly stained by coffee or soda spills, food residues, and other deposits. For a majority of carpet cleaners, the special wand for upholstery cleaning is not part of the standard accessory kit.

On the contrary, take a look at the XTreme Power series of carpet cleaners from Daimer®, a leading supplier of cleaning equipment in the country. The series comprises more than 20 models of carpet extractors with excellent features. Almost all the models come with the optional upholstery wand feature. Additionally, Daimer® offers models, like the XTreme Power® XPH-9300U, designed specifically for upholstery cleaning and auto detailing. These models come standard with the upholstery wand.

Ordinary wands are designed to clean the rougher surfaces of carpets and may not be ideal for long-term use on upholsteries. The specially designed upholstery wand helps in cleaning the seats and floors of vehicles without damaging the surface.
